Disclaimer: I can easily get used to new stuff - be it interfaces, new apps etc. I am a very happy Instinct 2X Solar owner. Deal breaker: Garmin Connect **does not sync** with Google Health Connect. If I knew that would be the case, I would opt for a G-Shock. Verdict: The information that you need is buried deep in the menus/views, and is hidden behind swipes. Views in the app (Glances vs Settings) are visually incompatible. Garmin Connect is not a simple app like Samsung Health. It is complex.

Doesn't cache activities in the app. Unless you connect frequently you will lose data. Also it often irritates me the decisions the developers make. It almost seems like they aren't fitness individuals. For example. You have two options: "Pause Activity", or "Switch Activity." The second one is handy if you want to do a warmup walk, and then a run. However, "Switch Activity" pauses your workout. If you don't start the second workout, you get no tracking. It just doesn't make sense...

This app is amazing. Helps with tracking your workouts as well as your health. Very easy to navigate and use too, which is nice Pros: It helps you get connected with communities like running or swimming, gives you stats after each activity or workout you do (pace, heart rate, even sweat loss!), and has coaching plans to help you reach your fitness goals! Con: If you don't have a Garmin device, the apps are kind of useless. You'll only be able to manually input what you've been doing
