About this eBook

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” - Arthur C. Clarke

There are many ways to test humanity to destruction. Serving tea and cakes is one of them.

And it is over tea and cakes that the enigmatic Mr. Day makes his proposition to skeptical diplomat Thaddeus Maine.

The offer is for the United Kingdom to become the sole distributor of technology so advanced as to be out of this world. A conduit, delivering wonders to the rest of the globe.

Naturally, the United Kingdom will want to attach a premium, to cover their costs and so forth…

But when it comes to a sufficiently advanced technology, we are so conditioned by what we see at the movies that the real thing no longer seems magical.

And unfortunately, that’s exactly what happens.

I have now read everything this author has offered. I hope to read many more. Simply awesome. Some of the 'science' is a bit difficult to follow, but, the story line is not. Self-published and minimal errors...impressive indeed, and I read A LOT OF BOOKS MONTHLY. I rarely subscribe to an author's website, but I intend to follow this person. Really great reading!

It somewhere between The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Dr Who. It's not uproariously funny but it is very good for quite a few chuckles. Keeps you interested throughout the book Highly recommend it .

...excellent....,a must read. I could go on and write about it but it would be a novella at least. I just aren't good enough to get the job done myself. I'm just saying only to read it yourself and you will be amazed... OZ
